A Collection of Small Moments – Oil Paintings by Carolyn Bunn
Show runs March 2 through April 8
Small moments line the walls of our unconscious memory…a dip in a pool, a pull on a sled, being read to. Conjured by our senses, the smell of freshly mowed grass or a breath of winter air, we recollect them. We know we’ve known this before. Seemingly insignificant moments, the stimuli of joy.
Carolyn Bunn lives in Orient Point and has a Masters in English Literature, but her earliest and most influential schooling came from a neighbor, a classically trained oil painter named Iroka Redmond. Carolyn currently works with oil on canvas and wood panels, but often paints the unique driftwood that washes up from The Long Island Sound.
