Akili Bradley Quartet
Rescheduled to Sunday, August 24, at 5 PM
As part of its ongoing 2025 New Music Series, curated by Peter Watrous.
Akili Bradley is a rising star in the world of contemporary jazz—a trumpeter and composer currently based in Boston, Massachusetts. Originally from Seaside, California, she cultivated her talents through the educational programs of the Monterey Jazz Festival, including the County All-Star Band, MJF’s summer camp, and the prestigious Next Generation Jazz Orchestra. Bradley is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Performance at the Berklee College of Music, where she studies with some of today’s most accomplished artists, including Terri Lyne Carrington, Linda May Oh, Tanya Darby, Billy Kilson, Jason Palmer, Tia Fuller, and Tiger Okoshi.
This live, outdoor performance continues Duck Creek’s commitment to showcasing innovative and artistically ambitious new music in an intimate, natural setting.
This program is free and open to the public.
Concert audience members are encouraged to bring a beach chair, a picnic and enjoy the evening (or afternoon)! All events are free, but space and parking are limited, so please arrive early, and be considerate of our neighbors.
