Amber Waves Fall Veggie Cooking Demo & Tasting with Jill Fergus & Rachel Simons from Seed & Mill

Join us for a fall vegetable cooking workshop with Jill Fergus of @feedtheswimmers and Rachel Simons co-founder of Seed & Mill. Jill & Rachel will demo how to make three special Fall recipes using a mix of Amber Waves grains, vegetables and herbs and Seed & Mill Tahini. We will take a walk to the fields to harvest some herbs to take home followed by a Q& A with the chefs and a tasting of all the dishes for everyone to enjoy! Here is a sneak peek of the recipes we will be demoing and tasting:

• Sweet potato/beet galette with an Amber Waves Whole Wheat flour crust.
• Grilled cabbage steaks with grilled lemons and za’atar tahini sauce
• Roasted radishes with chimichurri
• Amber Waves Wheatberry salad with chunks of roasted squash, roast almonds and a spicy tahini sauce
• Side of locally sliced bread and demo a technique of grilling garlic halves to create easy garlic bread

We will take a walk to the fields to harvest some herbs to take home followed by a Q& A with the chefs and a tasting of all the dishes.

What to expect: This is a demo style class, so you will not be making any of the dishes yourself. We will have an opportunity to walk into the field to harvest some herbs to take home, and you will be tasting all the
