
Borromeo String Quartet at Jamesport Meeting House

The Jamesport Meeting House will host the acclaimed Borromeo String Quartet on Saturday, October 11 at 7:30 p.m. This award-winning quartet is admired for its fresh interpretations of classical music and has been hailed for its “edge-of-the-seat performances,” by the Boston Globe, which called the Borromeo “simply the best.”
The program will feature the String Quartet No. 25 in C Major, Op. 20, No. 2 by Franz Joseph Haydn; Three Pieces for String Quartet by Igor Stravinsky; and String Quartet No. 14 in A-flat Major, Op. 105 by Antonín Dvorak. The concert will be followed by a reception with the artists. The concert is part of the Meeting House’s premier “1731 Series” that brings internationally acclaimed musicians from the metropolitan area to Jamesport.
