Buoys for the Bays Painting Workshop

Cornell Cooperative Extension Marine Program’s Back to the Bays and Borghese Vineyard present a Buoys for the Bays Art + Awareness Event. Through this initiative artwork will be created on reclaimed fishing buoys, curated into an exhibit in the vineyard’s gallery, and auctioned off to raise funds for CCE Marine Program.

For novice artists wanting to receive guidance in painting a buoy by professional artists, we will be holding a “Buoys for the Bays Painting Party” at July 7th at 6pm at Tiana Bayside Facility in Hampton Bays. Buoys painted at this event will be featured in the exhibit and opening celebration on July 17 and listed for sale in support of Cornell Cooperative Extension Marine Program’s “Back to the Bays Initiative”.

General Admission includes all the painting materials and instruction from artist, Carolyn Munaco and a Back to the Bays Stewardship Package!
