Goldsmith Supreme Court Decision Means For All Creatives Attorney Carol Steinberg (carolsteinbergesq.com) will discuss the recent Supreme Court decision involving Andy Warhol’s use of rock’n roll photographer Lynn Goldsmith’s photo of the musician Prince. Artists often have questions about what they can legally use of other artists’ works. Steinberg, who represents creatives and also teaches Artists’ Rights at the School of Visual Arts, will explain how creators can protect their rights and also the legal landscape for those who appropriate. She often speaks to creators and is accustomed to explaining complex legal concepts in plain English. This talk applies to artists in all media.
