East Hampton Hike with EHTPS Saturday June 15 at 10 AM

Saturday June 15, 2024, at 10 a.m. Miller’s Ground, East Hampton. (5 miles)
Ramble around on the high forested hills at Miller’s Ground, north of East Hampton Airport.  We will hike the Switchbacks Trail, Millers Ground Loop, and Toyland Trail, among others.  Mountain laurel should be in bloom!  Topography makes this a challenging hike by Long Island standards.  This is a joint hike of the East Hampton Trails Preservation Society and Southampton Trails Preservation Society.  Meet at 10 AM on Wainscott Northwest Road, where electric power lines cross the road, approx. 0.7 mile north of East Hampton Airport terminal building.  Distance: 5 miles; moderate pace but some steep hills.  Bring snacks, liquids & tick protection.  Info only, call Rick: 631-275-8539.
