Gene Casey and the Loan Sharks

Known as “the house band of the Hamptons,” Gene Casey and his legendary band have spent decades tearing up every roadhouse, bar, and honky-tonk from Manhattan to Montauk. What began on Long Island’s East End grew into a nationally respected roots-rock legacy, sharing stages with icons including Wanda Jackson, The Band, Bo Diddley, NRBQ, and The Ventures.

Gene’s original music has been heard far beyond the barroom, earning international indie radio play and appearing on A Prairie Home Companion, as well as in film and television including Justified, Sons of Anarchy, and films starring Robert DeNiro, Jessica Biel, and others.

Inducted into Dan’s Papers “Best of the Best” Hall of Fame and honored by the Long Island Music Hall of Fame, Gene Casey remains one of the East End’s most beloved and enduring musical voices.
