Japanese Folding and Dye Workshop

The Japanese Folding and Dye Workshop will introduce participants to the centuries-old technique of shibori, a resist-dyeing method that is similar to batik and tie dye that involves folding, clamping, or twisting textile or paper to create stunning designs. Participants will be inspired to experiment with color and pattern both at the Women’s Art Center (WACH) and at home.  Sunday, December 1 | 2-4pm.  $25, all materials included.  This workshop is for adults and children over 12 (must be accompanied by an adult).  Tickets available at wachamptonsny.org.  For more information, email info@wachamptonsny.org
