Knowledge Friday & Curatorial Tour with Jennifer Tripp & Mark Lubell
Jennifer Tripp & Mark Lubell, esteemed experts in the world of fine art photography and co-curators of the photography component of our Fall Exhibition will share their reflections and lead a tour of their contribution to RE:CYCLE: The Ubiquitous Bike. Join us as they give a curatorial tour that explores the works in the show and discuss their experience of life and work, leading to their relocation to Sag Harbor!
Jennifer, now an independent curator, advisor, and founder of Tripp Projects, has had a successful career with an emphasis on collaboration, partnership, and exhibition curation. Working with leading contemporary artists, advisors, and international institutions, Jennifer comes to The Church with years of seasoned grace in developing a visual narrative. Mark, named “Innovator of the Year” in 2007 by American Photo, continues a legacy of highlighting community and public programs. Both come to The Church with years of transformational prowess and bring to our community a presentation of world-renowned photographers who highlight the individual’s narrative and their connection to the ubiquitous bike.
After a curatorial tour of the exhibition, and following a discussion with the two, there will be a Q&A.
