Movie Night Under the Stars: GREASE (1978)

Grease is the word. Spend a summer night outdoors at the library for a screening of the classic live-action musical, Grease. This highest-grossing film of 1978 tells the story of the summer romance between good-girl Sandy and bad-boy greaser Danny. When fall starts and school begins at Rydell High, will they be able to keep their love alive? Set in the 1950s, the movie’s ensemble cast, including John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, and its irresistible soundtrack continues to captivate audiences for its blend of nostalgia, music, and fun. Bring your own favorite outdoor chair and blanket. Dress in your best Grease-themed outfit! Hot buttered popcorn and movie theater candy will be served.  Registration required.

Arrive at 7:30 p.m. for additional fun before the show, including 50s-inspired light snacks and a best costume contest.
