Dan's Papers cover by Joanna Steidle

The photo featured above is none other than the grand prize winner of the second round of Dan’s Papers photo contests. Drone photographer Joanna Steidle won our February and October 2022 contests for her stunning aerial photos, which earned her two $100 gift certificate to a popular Hamptons restaurant. Winning a monthly photo contest also gave her a chance at the grand prize of becoming a Dan’s Papers cover artist. All second round winners submitted a new set of photos for cover consideration, and Steidle’s “Valentine” was chosen for the February 24, 2023 cover.

Now, get ready, local shutterbugs, because the next photo contest of the second set has begun! Each contest brings a fresh theme, a fabulous prize and a chance to be honored as a Dan’s Papers cover artist! The current theme can only be found in the photo pages of Dan’s Papers or the most recent digital edition in our issue archive at DansPapers.com/read-the-paper-online.

Sound good? Read the rules below to enter.

All photos must also be taken on the East End (Hamptons, North Fork and Shelter Island) and submitted by the photographer who took them.
