Quiet Light Project: 9/18 Livestream Celtic Music Show to celebrate community
The Quiet Light Project is a Spirited & Soulful musical performance enhanced with wisdom and inspiration from the ancient Celts. It’s free. Inspired by the Irish saying, “Ní neart go cur le chéile” (‘We are better together’) the project will include a segment honoring people that have shared their light with the Brooklyn community. Our vision is to uplift and inspire audiences to be their own “quiet light” in the community.
The livestream performance includes music, video & dance. Guest artists include Irish dancers from the Buckley School of Irish Dance. Produced by Cady Finlayson & Vita Tanga, there will also be Celtic fiddle & global guitar.
The program is made possible in part through the support of the Brooklyn Arts Council, NYC Cultural Affairs, New York State Council on the Arts, American Immigration Council, Hopestreet, Mertz Gilmore Foundation and the Howard Gilman Foundation.
