Saving Fire Island from Robert Moses with Christopher Verga

In 1932 and again in 1962, urban planner Robert Moses attempted to pave the unspoiled and tranquil shorelines of Fire Island, which led to the creation of the Fire Island National Seashore.

Christopher Verga, author of Saving Fire Island from Robert Moses, will discuss the historical fight for a national seashore.
