Uncommon Artist Talk with Scott Bluedorn at Sound View Greenport

We are so excited to welcome our next Uncommon Artist: @theo_blue who is a well know local illustrator from the South Fork! You may have seen some of his drawings on @greenportbrew cans!

Join us on Tuesday April 4th from 5-6pm for an artist talk and display of works for sale in his pop up gallery/studio space! We will be hanging out after for food & drinks in the piano bar! Live music by @juliakingmusic from 6-8:30pm being filmed by our other Uncommon Artist: @tonycoonfilms !!! It’s a great week for art!

Artist, illustrator and designer Scott Bluedorn works in various media, including painting, drawing, print process, collage and found object assemblage. Drawing inspiration from cultural anthropology, primitivism, and nautical tradition, Bluedorn distills imagery that speaks to the collective unconscious, especially through myth and visual story-telling – a world he conjures as “maritime cosmology”.
