Winter Jazz with Organ Monk

Co-presented with the Hamptons Jazz Fest, this performance is for the record release of our sixth studio album, Organ Monk Going Home, which is also our first with Sunnyside Records. We are pleased to announce that it was highlighted in The New York City Jazz Record as a “Best of 2023” and also featured in DownBeat Editors’ Picks, where it was awarded 4 out of 5 stars. 

Organ Monk is primarily known for jazz and blues across a wide variety of their subgenres, and Gregory Lewis is especially renowned for specializing in transforming the repertoire of Thelonious Monk for the Hammond organ. This will be Organ Monk’s second appearance at the Lichtenstein Theater in the Parrish Art Museum. Professional footage of the first performance can be found on our YouTube.
